The REGEN™ Refrac packer is an operationally simple and robust slim hole HPHT packer specifically designed for use in recompleting existing well stock. The REGEN™ Refrac Packer is a next-generation style of expandable packer with no welding or metallic failure points, incorporating a zero extrusion gap design on its elastomeric seals.
Benefits
- The REGEN™ Refrac Packer can be used with both the REGEN™ Liner Hanger as a liner top packer or as one of many packers in a multi-stage packer completion, with just a single drop in liner size. In all cases, the packer can withstand the most demanding pressure differentials.
- The REGEN™ Refrac Packer is only marginally larger than the base liner it is deployed with, meaning it can be installed at any location in the well.
- The REGEN™ Refrac Packer uses a combination of expandable metal and rubber element, allowing the best of both metal-to-metal and elastomeric sealing.
